This is an old historical and traditional shrine, which is said to have been built in the first year of the Tenpyo Period (729). The shrine is deeply connected to Tokugawa Ieyasu, and it is said that he visited this shrine during the Enshu Invasion and Nagashino War. In the shrine grounds, there are Japanese Judas trees selected among the 100 selections of large and famous trees of Toyohashi.
