وفي هذا الصدد، يُقرّ ذلك الإعلان الخاص الصادر عن جماعة أمريكا اللاتينية ومنطقة البحر الكاريبي بأن مضغ ورق الكوكا (أكوليكو) يجب أن يكون موضع احترام المجتمع الدولي باعتباره مظهراً ثقافياً متوارثاً عن الجدود لشعب بوليفيا، ويُعبِّر الإعلان عن الاهتمام بمعرفة نتائج البحث العلمي الذي قام به معهد شهير في المجتمع الدولي بشأن خصائص ورق الكوكا.

In this context, that special CELAC Declaration recognizes Coca leaf chewing (akulliku) as an ancestral cultural manifestation of the people of Bolivia that must be respected by the international community and expresses interest in knowing the results of scientific research conducted by renowned institute of the international community on the properties of the Coca leaf.

En ese contexto, en la Declaración Especial de la CELAC se reconoce el masticado (akulliku) de la hoja de coca como una manifestación cultural ancestral del pueblo del Estado Plurinacional de Bolivia que debe ser respetada por la comunidad internacional, y se expresa interés en conocer los resultados de investigaciones científicas acerca de las propiedades de la hoja de coca realizadas por institutos de la comunidad internacional de reconocido prestigio en la materia.

Cette Déclaration spéciale reconnaît ainsi que la mastication de la feuille de coca (akulliku) est une tradition culturelle ancestrale du peuple bolivien qui doit être respectée par la communauté internationale, et dit attendre avec intérêt les résultats des recherches scientifiques menées sur les propriétés de la feuille de coca par un institut renommé au sein de la communauté internationale.

В этой связи в Специальном заявлении СЕЛАК признается, что практика жевания листьев коки (акуллику) является одним из исторических культурных обычаев населения Боливии, который должен уважаться международным сообществом, и выражается заинтересованность в получении информации о результатах проводившихся известным международным учреждением научных исследований, посвященных изучению свойств листьев коки.
