Analysis of the results of the demographic survey undertaken in 1991 shows that under the socio-economic and cultural conditions of Mozambique, it is not possible to determine a homogenous working age for both rural and urban areas.

L'analyse des résultats de l'enquête démographique réalisée en 1991 montre que compte tenu de la situation socio‐économique et culturelle du Mozambique, il n'est pas possible de déterminer un âge homogène pour les jeunes qui travaillent, en milieu tant rural qu'urbain.
