The edgewise wound coil manufacturing device is provided with: a plurality of corners; a core having a recess formed between each pair of adjacent corners, and around which a flat wire is wrapped; a rotating part that forces said core to rotate around the central axis of said core; guide parts that hold said flat wire therebetween in the thickness direction, while guiding said flat wire in such a manner that said flat wire wraps around said core; a first moving part that forces at least one of said guide parts and said core to move in the approaching/receding direction of the other; and a controller that adjusts the amount that said first moving part moves such that said edgewise wound coil achieves the desired shape.

Ce dispositif comprend : une pluralité d'angles; un noyau pourvu d'un évidement, formé entre chaque paire d'angles adjacents et autour duquel un fil plat est enveloppé; une partie rotative qui force ledit noyau à tourner autour de l'axe central du noyau; des parties guides qui retiennent entre elles le fil plat, dans le sens de l'épaisseur, tout en guidant le fil plat pour qu'il enveloppe le noyau; une première partie mobile qui force les parties guides et/ou le noyau à se rapprocher/s'éloigner mutuellement; et un organe de commande qui règle le déplacement de la première partie mobile afin que la bobine enroulée par le côté présente la forme voulue.
