The Optional Protocol on the Sale of Children, Child Prostitution and Child Pornography, 2000 to the CRC, ratified by India in 2005, is intended to achieve certain purposes of the CRCs by requiring the States to take measures to guarantee the protection of the child from the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography.

” आरंभिक बाल्यावस्था कन्वेंशन का बालकों के विक्रय, बालक वेश्यावृत्ति और बालक अश्लील साहित्य रचना (पोर्नोग्राफी) संबंधी वैकल्पिक प्रोटोकाल, 2000, जिसका कि अनुसमर्थन भारत द्वारा 2005 में किया गया था, आरंभिक बाल्यावस्था कन्वेंशन के कतिपय प्रयोजनों की, राज्यों से बालकों के विक्रय, बालक वेश्यावृत्ति और बालक अश्लील साहित्य रचना से बालक की संरक्षा की गारंटी देने के उपाय करने की अपेक्षा करते हुए, पूर्ति करने के लिए आशयित है ।
