Um eine Prüfvorrichtung für ein mit einer Bugkupplungseinheit versehenes Schienenfahrzeug bereitzustellen, durch welche eine auf die Bugkupplungseinheit bezogene Prüfung zumindest eines Systems des Schienenfahrzeugs einfach erfolgen kann, wird eine Prüfvorrichtung (12) zur Prüfung zumindest eines Systems (14) eines Schienenfahrzeugs (10) vorgeschlagen, mit einer Kupplungsschnittstelle (36), die dazu vorgesehen ist, mit einer Bugkupplungseinheit (26) des Schienenfahrzeugs (10) gekoppelt zu werden, um eine Kupplung des zu prüfenden Schienenfahrzeugs (10) mit einem weiteren Schienenfahrzeug zu fingieren, und mit einer mit der Kupplungsschnittstelle (36) verbundenen Prüfeinheit (38), die dazu vorgesehen ist, im gekoppelten Zustand wenigstens eine Eigenschaft des Systems (14) über die Bugkupplungseinheit (26) zumindest zu prüfen.

In order to make available a test device for a rail vehicle which is provided with a front coupling unit and by means of which testing of at least one system of the rail vehicle, relating to the front coupling unit, can easily take place, a test device (12) for testing at least one system (14) of a rail vehicle (10) is proposed, having a coupling interface (36) which is provided to be coupled to a front coupling unit (26) of the rail vehicle (10) in order to simulate a coupling of the rail vehicle (10) to be tested with a further rail vehicle, and having a test unit (38) which is connected to the coupling interface (36) and is provided for at least testing, in the coupled state, at least one property of the system (14) by means of the front coupling unit (26).
