It has alternate palmate-compound leaves with 5-7 oblong-lanceolate leaflets, with slightly indented margins, long from 2 to 10 cm and 1 to 3 cm broad; towards the apex of the stem, where the inflorescence develops, the leaves become entire and small, long up to about 4 cm; also on the leaves are present, both above and below, glandular hairs which emit a strong scent, which is, for some persons, almost unpleasant.

Presenta foglie alterne palmato-composte con 5-7 foglioline oblungo-lanceolate, dai margini leggermente dentati, lunghe da 2 a 10 cm e larghe 1-3 cm; verso l’apice del fusto, dove si sviluppa l’infiorescenza, le foglie diventano intere e di piccole dimensioni, fino a circa 4 cm di lunghezza; anche sulle foglie sono presenti, sia superiormente che inferiormente, peli ghiandolari che emanano un odore penetrante, per alcuni al limite dello sgradevole.
