La recomendación fue formulada en el evento “Edición Génica: una oportunidad de Cooperación Sur-Sur”, organizado por la Secretaría de Gobierno de Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación Productiva y la Secretaría de Gobierno de Agroindustria de Argentina junto al Instituto Interamericano de Cooperación para la Agricultura (IICA) y realizado en el Palacio San Martín, en paralelo a la Segunda Conferencia de Alto Nivel de las Naciones Unidas sobre la Cooperación Sur-Sur.
