Therefore, Abbate concludes claiming Alexander authorizes us to think that the χωριστόν is the first character, that is, the character which more than any other accepts the distinction between that which is substance, and all that which is not substance, if it is true that the higher substances, the immaterial ones, are distinguished from the material substances in carrying this character to the maximum fulfillment.

Abbate concluye argumentando que Alejandro, por ende, nos autoriza a pensar que el χωριστόνes el primer carácter, esto es, el carácter que más que cualquier otro acepta la distinción entre aquello que es sustancia y todo lo que no es sustancia, si es cierto que las sustancias más elevadas, las inmateriales, se distinguen de las sustancias materiales en llevar al máximo cumplimiento este carácter.
