উজবেকিস্তানের আদিজান অঞ্চলের সঙ্গে গুজরাটের সহযোগিতা গড়ে তোলার লক্ষ্যে স্বাক্ষরিত সমঝোতাপত্রের কথা উল্লেখ করে প্রধানমন্ত্রী শ্রী মোদী আশা প্রকাশ করেন যে, রাষ্ট্রপতি মীরজাওয়েভের ঐ ভারত সফরের ফলে দু’দেশের পাশাপাশি, অঞ্চল-ভিত্তিক সম্পর্ক আরও মজবুত হবে।

Referring to the MoU on cooperation between Gujarat and the Andijan region of Uzbekistan signed during the State Visit, Prime Minister noted the presence of the Governor of Andijan region in the Uzbek delegation and expressed hope that as a result of President Mirziyoyevs visit, relationship between Uzbekistan and India and region-to-region cooperation between Andijan and Gujarat would be further strengthened.
