The General Secretariat convene regular meetings of all relevant OAS bodies combating transnational organized crime (including the Secretariat of the Inter-American Drug Abuse Control Commission - CICAD, the Technical Secretariat of the Inter-American Convention against the Illicit Manufacturing of and Trafficking in Firearms, Ammunition, Explosives and other Related Materials - CIFTA, the Department of International Legal Affairs, the Executive Secretariat of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights, the Permanent Secretariat of the Inter-American Commission of Women, the Inter-American Children’s Institute, the Executive Secretariat for Integral Development, and others), and report to the Committee on Hemispheric Security on the outcome of those meetings and of OAS efforts to fight transnational organized crime.

La Secretaría General convoque reuniones periódicas de todos los órganos pertinentes de la OEA que luchan contra la delincuencia organizada transnacional (incluyendo la Secretaría de la Comisión Interamericana para el Control del Abuso de Drogas, la Secretaría Técnica de la Convención Interamericana contra la Fabricación y el Tráfico Ilícitos de Armas de Fuego, Municiones, Explosivos y Otros Materiales Relacionados, el Departamento de Asuntos Jurídicos Internacionales, la Secretaría Ejecutiva de la Interamericana de Mujeres, el Instituto Interamericano del Niño, la Secretaría Ejecutiva para el Desarrollo Integral y otros), e informe a la Comisión de Seguridad Hemisférica sobre los resultados de esas reuniones, así como de los esfuerzos de la OEA en la lucha contra la delincuencia organizada transnacional.
