As already pointed out, the effect of FTA Article 710 is to incorporate into the NAFTA, inter alia, the obligation on the Parties to remove agricultural non-tariff barriers and the right to replace those non-tariff barriers with the over-quota tariffs set out in their tariff schedules.

Como ya se ha señalado, el efecto del Artículo 710 del ALC es incorporar en el TLCAN, entre otras cosas, la obligación de las Partes de eliminar las barreras no arancelarias y el derecho a reemplazar esas barreras no arancelarias por aranceles por sobre el excedente de las cuotas establecidos en las listas de aranceles.
