Όταν κάνουμε εργαστήρια σε ντόπιους πληθυσμούς, πρέπει να καταλάβουμε ότι αυτά τα ισπανικά, ακόμα και αν είναι η επίσημη γλώσσα της χώρας, δεν είναι όμως η μητρική τους γλώσσα, αλλά η δεύτερη τους γλώσσα, και αυτό σημαίνει ότι υπάρχει ήδη ένα εμπόδιο γλωσσικό.

When delivering workshops to indigenous populations, we had to understand that Spanish, even though it’s the official language of the country, is not their mother tongue but their second language, and this means there is already a language barrier.

Cuando presentamos nuestros talleres a las comunidades indígenas, teníamos que tener presente que si bien el español es el idioma oficial del país, este no era su lengua materna sino su segundo idioma lo cual representaba un obstáculo lingüístico.
