The method for operating a surgical navigation system according to the present invention comprises the steps of: identifying an object from an image of the human body captured by a camera; forming a two-dimensional image of an organ using augmented reality with respect to the object; and creating a virtual organ model by three-dimensional rendering of the two-dimensional image of the organ.

증강 현실을 통해 형상화되는 2차원 장기 이미지를 3차원 렌더링하여 가상의 장기 모형으로 변환 함으로써, 사용자가 가상 현실에서 가상의 장기 모형 간의 깊이 정도 및 가상의 장기 모형과 수술 도구 간의 깊이 관계를 보다 용이하게 인지할 수 있도록 하는 수술 내비게이션 시스템 운용 방법이 개시된다. 본 발명에 따른 수술 내비게이션 시스템 운용 방법은, 카메라에 의해 촬상되는 인체영상으로부터 오브젝트를 식별하는 단계와, 증강현실을 이용하여, 상기 오브젝트에 대한 2차원의 장기 이미지를 형상화하는 단계 및 상기 장기 이미지를 3차원 렌더링하여, 가상의 장기 모형을 작성하는 단계를 포함한다.
