وقد اتضح أيضا أن لولا تأييدنا، ولولا الدعم الذي قدمه آخرون إلى الحكومة السورية الشرعية، لكانت الآن عصابات المجرمين التي تحفزها الأيديولوجية التكفيرية ويقوم بعض الموقعين على الرسالة بتنظيمها وتسليحها وتمويلها ودعمها لوجستياً قد رفعت أعلامها السوداء في كل مكان في سوريا وفي بعض الأجزاء الأخرى من الشرق الأوسط، بما في ذلك أراضي بعض الموقعين على الرسالة.

It is becoming further clear that if it were not for our support and the support of others for the legitimate Syrian Government, the bands of criminals, motivated by the takfiri ideology and organized, armed, funded and logistically supported by some of the signatories of the letter, would have by now planted their black flags everywhere in Syria and in some other parts of the Middle East, including on the soil of some of the signatories of the letter.

Cada vez es más evidente que si no fuera por nuestro apoyo y el de otros países al legítimo Gobierno sirio, las bandas de delincuentes, motivadas por la ideología takfirí y organizadas, armadas, financiadas y logísticamente apoyadas por algunos signatarios de la carta mencionada, ya habrían plantado sus banderas negras en toda Siria y en otras partes del Oriente Medio, incluso en el territorio de algunos de los signatarios de la carta.
