Die Citronensäure-Cyclus-Oxydation sowie der Einfluß von DPN auf den oxydativen Abbau von Pyruvat und Fumarat in Homogenisaten sprechen für ein aktives, weitgehend normales Oxydationssystem (Citronensäure-Cyclus, Atmungskette) in den leukämischen Leukocyten.

The citric acid-cycle-oxydation as well as the effect of DPN on the oxidative metabolism of pyruvate and fumarate in homogenates indicate an active and entirely normal oxidative system (citric acid cycle, respiration chain) in the leukemic leukocytes.
