It was noted that while economic vitalization, increased job opportunities, and so on can be expected to result from globalization, it also was the cause of such issues as an increase in the number of informal-sector workers and nonregular workers, a detrimental amendment of labour laws, the promotion of privatization, and an increase of industrial disputes. In response, JILAF and the ILO emphasized once again that the building of constructive industrial relations was important for the solution of issues arising from globalization and that the promotion of trade union solidarity and organization and social dialogue would be beneficial as well.

글로벌화에 의해 경제활성화와 고용기회의 증가 등이 기대되는 반면 ❶비공식 부문 노동자 및 비정규 노동의 증가, ❷노동법 개악, ❸민영화 촉진, ❹노사분쟁의 증가 등이 과제라는 발표가 있었다. 이에 대하여 JILAF 및 ILO는 글로벌화에 따른 과제 해결로 건설적인 노사관계 구축이 중요하다는 뜻을 재차 강조하고 노동운동의 결집·조직화의 촉진과 사회대화도 유용하다는 취지를 공유했다.
