Special offers and and the living quarters for the parish clerk Georg Nieländer were completed in 1837 and the school was open there until 1975. A museum has been open there from 5 January 1987 and it displays the life of a parish school at the end of the 19th century through Oskar Luts’s Spring.

Palamusen pitäjänkoulurakennus ja lukkari Aleksander Georg Nieländerin asuintilat valmistuivat vuonna 1873. Niissä koulu toimi vuoteen 1975 saakka. Vuoden 1987 tammikuun 5. päivänä siellä avattiin museo, jossa esitellään 1880-luvun lopun pitäjänkoulun elämää Oskar Lutsin Kevade-romaanin kautta.
