The tip of working tooth (112) is located in its respective working position forwardly of the centre of gravity of the plough (100), and the plough (100) is adapted so that, when supported on a generally flat surface by a heel (108) rearwardly of the plough share (106) and at least one of the working teeth (112), the cutting edge of the share (106) does not come into contact with the generally flat surface.
