My dear young friends, I want to invite you to “dare to love”. Do not desire anything less for your life than a love that is strong and beautiful and that is capable of making the whole of your existence a joyful undertaking of giving yourselves as a gift to God and your brothers and sisters, in imitation of the One who vanquished hatred and death forever through love (cf Rev 5:13).

Queridos jóvenes, quisiera invitaros a “atreverse a amar”, a no desear más que un amor fuerte y hermoso, capaz de hacer de toda vuestra vida una gozosa realización del don de vosotros mismos a Dios y a los hermanos, imitando a Aquél que, por medio del amor, ha vencido para siempre el odio y la muerte (cf. Ap 5,13).

Cari giovani, vorrei invitarvi a “osare l’amore”, a non desiderare cioè niente di meno per la vostra vita che un amore forte e bello, capace di rendere l’esistenza intera una gioiosa realizzazione del dono di voi stessi a Dio e ai fratelli, ad imitazione di Colui che mediante l’amore ha vinto per sempre l’odio e la morte (cfr Ap 5,13).
