وسوف يقوم شاغل الوظيفة أيضاً بما يلي: (أ) تقديم المشورة والدعم لمدير الشعبة بشأن الجوانب الاستراتيجية والتشغيلية والأمنية والإدارية المتَّصلة بالمكاتب الميدانية والبرامج الميدانية التابعة للمكتب؛ (ب) توفير التوجيه الفني والمشورة والتنسيق بشأن جميع عمليات مراجعة الحسابات والاستعراضات والتقييمات المتعلقة بعمل الشعبة على مستوى المقر وفي الميدان؛ (ج) إدارة قسم الموارد البشرية والمالية؛ (د) توجيه وقيادة جهود وضع وترويج معايير الممارسات الفضلى المشتركة من أجل برامج الميدانية؛ (ه) توجيه نظم دعم النوعية والرصد والإبلاغ والإشراف على هذه النظم في المكاتب والبرامج الميدانية التابعة للمكتب التي تديرها الشعبة.

The incumbent will also: (a) provide advice and support to the Director of the Division on strategic, operational, security and management aspects related to UNODC field offices and field-based programmes; (b) provide substantive guidance, advice and coordination on all audits, reviews and evaluations of the Division’s work at headquarters and in the field; (c) manage the human and financial resources of the Section; (d) guide and lead the development and promotion of common best practice standards for field-based UNODC programmes; and (e) guide and oversee the quality support, monitoring and reporting systems for UNODC field offices and programmes managed by the Division.

Asimismo, el titular: a) ofrecerá asesoramiento y apoyo al Director de la División en relación con cuestiones estratégicas, operacionales y en materia de seguridad y gestión relacionadas con las oficinas extrasede de la UNODC y sus programas sobre el terreno; b) proporcionará orientaciones, asesoramiento y coordinación sustantivos respecto de todas las auditorías, exámenes y evaluaciones de la labor de la División en la sede y sobre el terreno; c) gestionará los recursos humanos y financieros de la Sección; d) guiará y dirigirá la elaboración y la promoción de unas normas comunes sobre mejores prácticas para los programas de la UNODC sobre el terreno; y e) guiará y supervisará los sistemas de apoyo a la calidad, de seguimiento y de presentación de informes para las oficinas extrasede de la UNODC y los programas gestionados por la División.
