يسعى الاتحاد الدولي للمهندسين المعماريين إلى الجمع بين المهندسين المعماريين في العالم على أساس ديمقراطي وإلى تمثيلهم على الصعيدين الدولي والحكومي، وكفالة الاستمرار في تطوير الأساليب المهنية والمعايير التعليمية العالية مع احترام ما تنفرد به مختلف المجتمعات من خاصيات، وتقديم المساعدة في توفير العمران بطريقة مستدامة، والإغاثة في حالات الطوارئ، وتوفير ”مساكن بلا حدود“.

The International Union of Architects works to unite the architects of the world on a democratic basis and to represent them at international and governmental levels so to ensure the continued development of professional methods and the high-level of educational criteria while respecting the specificity of different communities and providing aid in the sustainable development of the built environment, disaster relief and “housing without borders”.

La Unión Internacional de Arquitectos (UIA) tiene por misión unir a los arquitectos del mundo sobre una base democrática y representarlos a escala internacional y gubernamental, de manera que se garantice el continuo desarrollo de métodos profesionales y el alto nivel de los criterios educativos, al tiempo que se respeta la especificidad de las distintas comunidades y se proporciona ayuda para el desarrollo sostenible del entorno construido, socorro en casos de desastre y “vivienda sin fronteras”.
