Eine Ausnahme besteht lediglich beim Liposarkom (G1, „Atypisches Lipom“) der Extremitäten. Der noch vor Jahren empfohlene Resektionsabstand von mindestens 1 cm in alle Richtungen ist nicht mehr zu rechtfertigen.
