Over the entire area studied, mean annual accumulation of aboveground biomass in the forest patches in 2005 was 4.6 ± 0.3 t ha-1 per year, which represented a total of 323,469.8 ± 23,227.3 t, equivalent to 161,734.88 ± 11,613.65 t of carbon storage (C).
