As early as 2002, the blog Ecoportal published a report on the Toxicology of Glyphosate by Dr Jorge Kaczewer, founder and medical director of the Argentinian Institute of Neural Therapy and Integrative Medicine, wherein the author accused Monsanto and related laboratories of corruption:

Ya por el año 2002, el blog Ecoportal había publicado un informe acerca de la Toxicología del Glifosato del Dr Jorge Kaczewer, fundador y director médico del Instituto Argentino de Terapia Neural y Medicina Integral, en el cual, entre otras cosas, se acusaba la empresa y a los laboratorios de corrupción, afirmando que “los estudios toxicológicos sobre el glifosato requeridos oficialmente para su registro y aprobación han sido asociados con prácticas fraudulentas”.
