The use of autologous vein transplants has proved to be of value in 2 patients with a rapture of the subclavian and axillary artery, in posttraumatic obliteration of the subclavian artery by a badly healed fracture of the clavicle, in the operation on an aneurysm of the subclavian artery and in occlusion of the subclavian and axillary artery as a result of X-ray irradiation.
