كما حددت مسائل معينة متصلة بمعيار الدولة الأكثر رعاية لم يستكشفها الأونكتاد بالكامل، ملاحظِة أنه بالإمكان مواصلة النظر في البعض منها، ولا سيما مسائل وضع معيار الدولة الأكثر رعاية في القانون الدولي العرفي، والتفسير القانوني لصِيَغه المختلفة والصلة بين أحكام المعاهدات والممارسة في إطار القوانين المحلية.

It also identified certain issues concerning the MFN standard that had not been fully explored by UNCTAD, noting that some of these issues, including the status of the MFN standard in customary international law, the legal interpretation of different formulations of the standard and the relationship between treaty provisions and municipal law practice could be further considered.
