In order to know the morphological organization of the digestive system of the smooth butterfly ray Gymnura micrura, specimens were collected with a trawl net in coastal lagoons and littoral of the Gulf of Mexico.

Con el objeto de conocer la organización morfológica del sistema digestivo de la raya mariposa Gymnura micrura, se colectaron 23 ejemplares con red de arrastre en lagunas costeras y el litoral del estado de Veracruz en el golfo de México.
