Eine Deckscheibe (1) für ein geschlossenes Laufrad einer Radial- oder Diagonalströmungsmaschine zur Definition eines Strömungskanals weist eine Wandstärke auf, die längs der Profilmittellinie des Meridianquerschnittes der Deckscheibe zwischen einer ersten und einer zweiten Stirnseite (2, 3) der Deckscheibe ein lokales Maximum aufweist, wobei eine von dem Strömungskanal abgewandte Außenoberfläche (1.2) der Deckscheibe im Bereich dieses lokalen Maximums eine konvexe Krümmung mit einem Radius (R2.2) aufweist, dessen Verhältnis (R2.2/D2) zu einem Außendurchmesser (D2) des Laufrades in einem Bereich zwischen 0,05 und 0,5 liegt (0,05 ≤ R2.2/D2 ≤ 0,5).

The invention relates to a cover disk (1) for a closed impeller of a radial or diagonal turbomachine for the definition of a flow channel, having a wall thickness that has a local maximum along the profile center line of the meridian cross-section of the cover disk between a first and a second front (2, 3) of the cover disk, wherein an outer surface (1.2) of the cover disk facing away from the flow channel has a convex curvature with a radius (R2.2) in the region of said local maximum, the ratio (R2.2/D2) of which to an outside diameter (D2) of the impeller is in a range of 0.05 to 0.5 (0.05 ≤ R2.2/D2 ≤ 0.5).
