According to information from the Hungarian Atomic Energy Authority(2), in March 2017, the latter has granted a site licence accepting the suitability of the site survey, the site-related design data, and the justification of absence of any site characteristics that would exclude the possibility of the construction.

A magyarországi Országos Atomenergia Hivatal 2017. márciusi tájékoztatása szerint(2) a telephely üzemi engedélyét megadták, ezzel elismerve a telephely vizsgálatának és a telephellyel összefüggő, tervezéshez szükséges adatoknak a megfelelőségét, illetve azt, hogy a telephely jellemzői nem zárják ki a létesítést.
