The Regulations on Workers’ Compensation Insurance, implemented in 2004, guarantee in the form of State legislation that when workers are injured in accidents at work or contract occupational illnesses, they shall be able to receive medical care and relief and gain economic compensation, promptly and in accordance with the legally stipulated criteria.
