Indsatsen vil blive koncentreret om bl.a. tilpasning og anvendelse af generiske loesninger, som er til raadighed for datamatintegrerede teknologier, (herunder Computer Integrated Manufacturing and Engineering - CIME), mikrosystem-teknologi, graensefladerne mellem menneske og maskine trimmet til produktion/just-in-time manufacturing, udvikling af hurtig prototyping og teknologi til renere industriprocesser (saasom bio-behandling og andre teknologier, som begraenser forbruget af energi og naturressourcer til et minimum) og fremkomsten af nye produkter, navnlig inden for industrimaskiner, transport, kemi og boliger.

Hier geht es vor allem um die Anpassung und Anwendung grundlegender Lösungen für computerintegrierte Technologien (CIT) (einschließlich der computerintegrierten Fertigung und Konstruktion - CIME), die Technologie der Mikrosysteme, die Mensch/Maschine-Schnittstellen, die "schlanke" Produktion/JIT-Produktion, die rasche Prototyperstellung und die für umweltfreundliche Fertigung erforderlichen Technologien (z. B. biotechnologische Verfahren und andere energiesparende und die natürlichen Ressourcen schonende Technologien) und die rasche Entwicklung neuer Produkte insbesondere in den Bereichen Industriemaschinen, Verkehrswesen, chemische Verfahren und menschliche Siedlungsstruktur.

In particular, emphasis will be placed upon the adaptation and application of generic solutions available for computer integrated technologies (CIT), (including computer integrated manufacturing and engineering - CIME), for micro-system technologies, man-machine interfaces, lean production/just-in-time manufacturing, the development of rapid prototyping and the technologies required for clean manufacturing (such as bioprocessing, and other technologies minimizing consumption of energy and natural resources) and for the rapid emergence of new products, particularly in the field of industrial machines, transport, chemical processing and human habitat.

El trabajo se centrará, especialmente, en la adaptación y aplicación de soluciones genéricas para las tecnologías integradas por ordenador, ya disponibles, con inclusión de la fabricación e ingeniería integradas por ordenador (CIME), para las tecnologías de los microsistemas, las interfaces hombre-máquina, la producción ajustada/la fabricación a tiempo ajustado, la creación rápida de prototipos y las tecnologías necesarias para los procedimientos industriales limpios (como el biotratamiento y otras tecnologías que reduzcan al máximo el consumo de energía y de recursos naturales) y la producción rápida de nuevos productos, en particular en los sectores de las máquinas industriales, el transporte, el tratamiento químico y el hábitat humano.

De nadruk komt vooral te liggen op de aanpassing en toepassing van generieke oplossingen die beschikbaar zijn voor computer-geïntegreerde technologie (CIT) (inclusief computer-geïntegreerde produktie en engineering (CIME - Computer Integrated Manufacturing en Engineering)), voor microsysteemtechnologie, mens/machine-interfaces, lean production/just-in-time manufacturing, de ontwikkeling van snelle prototyping en de technologie die nodig is voor schone industriële procédés (zoals biologische zuivering en andere technologieën waardoor het energie- en grondstoffenverbruik zo beperkt mogelijk wordt gehouden) alsmede voor de snelle ontwikkeling van nieuwe produkten, vooral op het gebied van industriële apparatuur, vervoer, chemische verwerking en de menselijke habitat.
