Appreciates the successful efforts made by the Secretary-General of the Organization of the Islamic Conference, the Director General of ISESCO and the Chairman of the First Islamic Conference of Ministers of Environment to stimulate the efforts of Member States and to coordinate and enhance the participation of the Islamic World in the International Summit Conference on Sustainable Development ( # ugust # eptember # ), in conjunction with the General Secretariat of the Organization of the Islamic Conference and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), efforts which have enabled the inclusion of the Jeddah Declaration and the general framework of the Islamic Work Programme on Sustainable Development in the documents of the Johannesburg Summit
