ولذلك فإن من الضروري تنفيذ قرارات الأمم المتحدة المتعلقة بمنح الشعب الفلسطيني حقه المشروع في تقرير مصيره، ذلك الشعب الذي يعاني منذ فترة طويلة تحت نير الاحتلال الإسرائيلي، مع ما يستتبع ذلك من عواقب مأسوية نعرفها، ولا سيما بالنسبة إلى الأطفال.

That was why it was necessary to implement the relevant United Nations resolutions on the granting to the Palestinian people of their legitimate right to self-determination, a people that had suffered for so long under the yoke of Israeli occupation, with the tragic consequences that were well known, especially with regard to children.
