All das vollzieht sich vor dem Hintergrund schwerster innerer Vorwürfe, deren Ursache darin liegt, daß es neben den Menschen und Gesellschaftsgruppen, die in Wohlstand, Sattheit und Überfluß leben und sich dem Konsumismus und der Genußsucht unterworfen haben, in der gleichen Menschheitsfamilie nicht an einzelnen noch an Gesellschaftsgruppen fehlt, die Hunger leiden.

All this is happening against the background of the gigantic remorse caused by the fact that, side by side with wealthy and surfeited people and societies, living in plenty and ruled by consumerism and pleasure, the same human family contains individuals and groups that are suffering from hunger.
