The business line also monitors and analyses the transportation system, reports on the state of transportation in Canada, carries out economic studies and program evaluations, supports the Minister and Deputy Minister in their relations with other federal departments, other levels of government, and foreign governments, represents the department in international trade issues, and evaluates policy and programs for the entire department.
