Three experimental groups were formed with fifth-passage periodontal ligament (PDL) fibroblasts treated by the static application of compressive force (2 g/cm2), heat-inactivated aggregatibacter actinomycetemcomitans (1 × 107 cells), or both of these stressors combined.
