The Pericardium is intimately linked to the heart, the diaphragm, the pleuras, the trachea, the esophagus, the entry of the stomach, the principal arterial and venous tracts, the phrenic centre (responsible for the respiration), the stellar ganglion (key in the regulation of the neurovegetative nervous system), the base of the craneum, the intracraneal membranes, the Tiroides and Thymus' glands; plus numerous ligaments that link it directly to the spine from the sacrum to the craneum's base.

Le Péricarde est intimement lié au coeur, au diaphragme, les pleures, la trachée, l'ésofage, l'entrée de l'estomac, les principales voies artérielles et véneuses, le centre phrénique (responsable de la respiration), le ganglion stéllaire (clef dans la régulation du système nerveux neurovégétatif), la base du crâne, les membranes intercrâniennes, les glandes Tiroïde et Timus.
