The Constitution of Bolivia is the seventeenth constitutional text in the country’s history; it was adopted by the Constituent Assembly in December 2007. Amendments from the National Congress were received in 2008 and it was submitted for consideration to the people on 25 January 2009 in a binding referendum and was finally enacted on 7 February 2009 by President Evo Morales Ayma.

La Constitución Política de Bolivia viene a ser el 17.o texto constitucional en la historia del país, que fue aprobada por la Asamblea Constituyente en diciembre de 2007 recibiendo modificaciones del Congreso Nacional el año 2008 y puesta a consideración de la ciudadanía el 25 de enero de 2009 en el referéndum dirimidor y aprobatorio para ser finalmente promulgada el 7 de febrero de 2009 por el Sr. Presidente Evo Morales Ayma.
