Husum also offers plenty in the way of culture – so much, in fact, that the small town has its own culture trail connecting the 32 most important historical and architectural sites. The route starts at the Old Town Hall on the market square where you'll find a whole series of attractions. One of these is St. Mary's Church, an important is the former manor house in which King Frederick I of Denmark established a mint around 1520, and finally the house where Theodor Storm was born.

Husum heeft ook op cultureel gebied heel wat te bieden – zo veel zelfs dat het stadje een cultuurpad heeft ontwikkeld dat de 32 belangrijkste historische en architectonische punten met elkaar verbindt. De route begint bij het Alte Rathaus op het marktplein, en begint meteen met een hele serie bezienswaardigheden: de Marienkirche, een van de belangrijkste classicistische bouwwerken van Sleeswijk-Holstein, met ervoor het symbool van Husum, "Tine", een bronzen standbeeld van een jonge Friezin, daarna het voormalige herenhuis Friedrich I rond 1520 een munterij oprichtte, en tot slot het geboortehuis van Theodor Storm.
