Provided is a hole plug comprising: a flange portion which covers, at a prescribed angle of inclination, the peripheral edge surface of an attachment hole opening bored in an attachment member; and a cylindrical outer peripheral wall portion which extends downward from the inner peripheral edge of the flange portion.

取付部材に穿設された取付孔の開口周縁表面に対して所定の傾斜角度をもって覆う鍔部と、前記鍔部の内周縁部から下方へ向かって延設された筒状の外周壁部を備えたホールプラグであって、前記鍔部の先端が取付部材の開口周縁表面へ当接するのに伴い、前記取付孔への挿入の際に、前記外周壁部の所定の位置から上側の外周壁部を孔縁から遠ざかる方向へ撓ませるための基点として形成した鍔部連動屈曲部を備えたので、挿入荷重を低減するとともに、板厚の変化に対応でき、且つ水密性を維持することができる。
