Ich bezeuge Ihnen, daß heutzutage die Himmel offen sind, und zwar seit dem Frühling des Jahres 1820, als der junge Prophet Joseph Smith den Vater und den Sohn gesehen hat und sein aufrichtiges Beten erhört wurde; seit damals hat es auf der Erde immer einen Gesalbten des Herrn gegeben, durch den der Herr - damals wie heute - sein Wort offenbart.

I testify to you that today the heavens are open and since the spring of the year of 1820, when the boy prophet Joseph Smith Jr. saw the Father and the Son and received an answer to his sincere prayer, there has always been one of the Lord’s anointed here on earth through whom the Lord has and does reveal His word.
