فمنذ أكثر من 13 عاماً، وشعب كامل ينتظر بصبر وثقة الاستفتاء الذى وعد به؛ أو تقريراً عن ذلك الاستفتاء، وأصبح حق تقرير المصير الذى أعادت السلطات المغربية تأكيد رفضه وتأجيل مسألة شرعية تمثيل الجمهورية العربية الصحراوية الديمقراطية أمراً يلحق الضرر بالصحراويين.

For more than 13 years a whole people had been waiting patiently and trustingly for a referendum which it had been promised; the deferral of the referendum, the Moroccan authorities’ repeated denial of the right to self-determination, and the questioning of the legitimacy of the representatives of the Saharan Arab Democratic Republic continued to wound the Saharans.

Desde hace más de 13 años, todo un pueblo espera con paciencia y confianza la celebración del referéndum que se le ha prometido; no obstante, la postergación de este referéndum, la denegación reiterada del derecho a la libre determinación por parte de las autoridades marroquíes y el cuestionamiento de la legitimidad de los representantes de la República Árabe Saharaui Democrática son un constante agravio para los saharauis.

Depuis plus de 13 ans, tout un peuple attend avec patience et confiance le référendum qui lui a été promis; or le report de ce référendum, le refus réaffirmé du droit à l’autodétermination par les autorités marocaines et la remise en question de la légitimité des représentants de la République arabe du Sahara démocratique ne cessent de blesser les Sahraouis.
