Dadurch ist es möglich, eine eventuell auftretende Drift des piezoelektrischen Elements (2) und/oder Verschleißerscheinungen am Steuerventil (15) periodisch während der gesamten Lebensdauer der Brennkraftmaschine zu erfassen und bei der Berechnung der Ansteuerzeiten der Kraftstoffeinspritzeinrichtung (1) entsprechend zu berücksichtigen.
