In 1972, he formed with architect Gae Aulenti a study group for the development of new urban transportation systems, a theme which he pursued further for an exhibition at the XVI Triennale in Milan in 1979 and which included the design of a bus for Fiat that enabled passengers to stow their bicycles in a rack.

En 1972 fundó con la arquitecta Gae Aulenti un grupo de trabajo para el estudio de nuevos sistemas de transporte urbano, tema que profundizó en la exposición Trienal XVI de Milán en 1979, donde se presentó el proyecto de un autobús de la marca FIAT en la que los pasajeros pueden guardar sus bicicletas en un soporte especial.
