Er Kommissionen klar over, at de kretiske oeer Gavdhopoula og Gavdhos, som det graeske ministerium for fysisk planlaegning og miljoe paa grundlag af en indgaaende undersoegelse har vurderet som uerstattelig naturarv og derfor har foreslaaet som prioriterede naturtyper af faellesskabsbetydning inden for rammerne af NATURA 2000, for Gavdhopoulas vedkommende skal gennemgaa en fuldstaendig nedrivning og alt skal asfalteres og benyttes som industriomraade, og for Gavdhos vedkommende skal gennemgaa en urbanisering med taet boligbebyggelse?

Ist der Kommission bekannt, daß die Inseln Gavdopoula und Gavdos (Griechenland, Kreta), welche auf der Grundlage eingehender Prüfung als unersetzbares Naturerbe vom griechischen Ministerium für Raumordnung und Umwelt eingeschätzt und deshalb als prioritärer und natürlicher Lebensraum von europäischer Bedeutung im Rahmen von NATURA 2000 vorgeschlagen wurden, im Falle von Gavdopoula völlig abgetragen, vollständig asphaltiert und als Industriegebiet genutzt und im Falle Gavdos mit dichter Wohnbebauung urbanisiert werden sollen?

Γνωρίζει η Επιτροπή ότι τα Κρητικά νησιά Γαυδοπούλα και Γαύδος, τα οποία έχουν εκτιμηθεί βάσει εμπεριστατωμένου ελέγχου του Ελληνικού Υπουργείου Χωροταξίας και Περιβάλλοντος ως αναντικατάστατα στοιχεία της φυσικής κληρονομιάς, και, για το λόγο αυτό, έχουν προταθεί ως φυσικοί βιότοποι προτεραιότητας ευρωπαϊκής σημασίας στο πλαίσιο του NATURA 2000, πρόκειται, στην περίπτωση της Γαυδοπούλας, να ισοπεδωθούν πλήρως και να ασφαλτοστρωθούν και να χρησιμοποιηθούν ως βιομηχανική ζώνη, στη δε περίπτωση του Γαύδου προβλέπεται η κατασκευή κατοικιών πυκνής δόμησης;

Is the Commission aware that, on the basis of an in-depth investigation, the Cretan islands of Gavdhopoúla and Gávdhos have been designated by the Greek Ministry for Regional Planning and the Environment as an irreplaceable natural asset and, consequently, proposed as priority natural habitats of Community importance as part of the Natura 2000 network? However, Gavdhopoúla is to be totally demolished, asphalted over and used as an industrial zone, while Gávdhos is to be turned into a high-density urban development?

La Commission sait-elle que les îles de Gavdopoula et Gavdos (Grèce, Crète) qui ont été classées par le ministère de l'aménagement du territoire et de l'environnement comme patrimoine naturel irremplaçable sur la base d'un examen approfondi et qui ont été dès lors proposées comme espace prioritaire et naturel d'importance européenne dans le cadre de Natura 2000, doivent être respectivement entièrement ravagée, bétonnisée et utilisée comme zone industrielle et, dans le cas de Gavdos, fortement urbanisée?

E' la Commissione al corrente che le isole Gavdopoula e Gavdos (Grecia, Creta), sulla base di un esame approfondito, sono state classificate patrimonio naturale insostituibile dal ministero greco dell'assetto territoriale e dell'ambiente e pertanto sono state proposte come prioritarie e come habitat naturali di rilevanza europea nel quadro di Natura 2000, eppure si prevede spianare e asfaltare completamente Gavdopoula per trasformarla in zona industriale e a Gavdos si progetta un'urbanizzazione selvaggia?

Tem a Comissão conhecimento de que, com base num exame aprofundado, as ilhas de Gavdopoula e Gavdos (Grécia, Creta) foram classificadas pelo Ministério grego do Ordenamento Territorial e do Ambiente património natural insubstituível e, por essa razão, propostas, no âmbito de NATURA 2000, habitats naturais prioritários de importância europeia, e de que, apesar disso, a ilha de Gavdopoula deverá ser totalmente destruída, asfaltada e utilizada como zona industrial e a ilha de Gavdos densamente urbanizada?

Känner kommissionen till att öarna Gavdopoula och Gavdos (Grekland, Kreta) på grundval av ingående granskning bedömts som oersättligt naturarv av det grekiska ministeriet för fysisk planering och miljö och därför föreslagits som prioriterade naturvårdsområden av europeisk betydelse inom ramen för Natura 2000, att Gavdopoula skall jämnas till helt och hållet, asfalteras på hela sin yta och användas som industriområde samt att Gavdos skall urbaniseras med förtätad bostadsbebyggelse?
