A method for testing a plurality of semiconductor devices arranged on a strip includes forming an array of semiconductor devices (104) on a frame (105), wherein contact pads of adjacent semiconductor devices are shorted, partially cutting the strip to electrically isolate individual semiconductor devices in the array, placing the strip on an adhesive tape (120) configured to withstand low temperatures (e.g., below -20 °C or below -50 °C), arranging the strip and tape on a test chuck (110), exposing the test chuck, strip, and tape to temperatures below an ambient temperature and testing the plurality of semiconductor devices while exposed to a low temperature.

La présente invention concerne un procédé destiné à tester une pluralité de dispositifs à semiconducteur agencés sur une bande, consistant à former un réseau de dispositifs à semiconducteur (104) sur un châssis (105), les plots de contact de dispositifs à semiconducteur adjacents étant court-circuités, à découper partiellement la bande afin d'isoler électriquement des dispositifs à semiconducteur individuels du réseau, à placer la bande sur un ruban adhésif (120) configuré pour résister aux basses températures (par exemple en-dessous de -20°C ou en dessous de -50°C), à agencer la bande et le ruban sur un mandrin de test (110), à exposer le mandrin de test, la bande et le ruban à des températures inférieures à la température ambiante et à tester la pluralité de dispositifs à semiconducteur pendant qu'ils sont exposés à une basse température.
