Les recherches sur la neuroplasticité des artistes grâce à la neuroimagerie sont de même en pleine évolution, confirmant souvent leurs intuitions vis à vis du codage de l’image, mais selon l’auteur: « L’art en pensée est, lui, inséparable de la vie de ses auteurs... dont toute pratique est existentielle avant d’être réalité virtuelle puis visuelle utilisant souvent les altérités pour offrir une émotion, un trajectif entre pensée et résultat...
