In this driving apparatus for a vehicle, an end section of the extending opposing-face section (71) at the outer side in the diameter direction is arranged at a position more to the inner side in the diameter direction than a coil end section (Ce1), and at a position overlapping with the coil end section (Ce1) when viewed in the diameter direction, with a gap in the diameter direction interposed therebetween.
