UNOPS agreed with the Board’s recommendation that it (a) reconcile the payroll with the general ledger on a regular basis to ensure that all payroll costs have been correctly allocated, (b) certify the reconciliations at an appropriate level of seniority as proof of review and (c) make specific year-end and biennium-end closing arrangements to validate differences.
